FREE CALS FROM YOUR CELL PHONE WITIN WIFI
Labels: voip
Call for free to regular phones with VoIP using the Sipura SPA3000.
I think the picture to the right speaks for itself. Move the cable that is connected to your phone to the line outlet on your Sipura. Then connect the thin cable that came in the box between your phone and the outlet marked phone. Connect the bigger cable (also in the package) between the outlet marked Ethernet and your network (switch, hub or router), then connect the power adapter.
Another good thing is that the SPA3000 will not interfere with your phone line right now, but it will simply bridge your phone with the phone line. This means that if your wife (maybe I should stop taking my and your wife as the example person?) picks up the phone at this time then it will work just as normal.
In this setup I will assume that you have a NAT router or firewall setup as this is what most people have today. I’m also assuming that that device will hand out a DHCP address. If you can connect a new computer to your network and it ‘just works’ then you have this. Again, most people do have this today.
To be able to connect to the administration web interface of the Sipura you first need to disconnect the incoming line. Just unplug the cable from the line port and lift the phone off the hook. You should get a dial tone. Now press four stars (****) and you should here a voice telling you that you’re in the Sipura configuration menu. Now press 110# and the voice will tell you the IP number of the SPA3000.
Here is an example recording from my own setup. First I pick up the phone and press **** then after the voice is done I press 110# and the voice tells me 130.144.42.224 which is my IP number. Tip. If you don’t hear the voice after pressing start four times, then press several stars more until you hear the voice.
Step 3 - Don’t get intimidated, let’s log on to the web interfaceNow when you have the Sipura’s ip address we can log onto the web interface. Simply open your web browser and type http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/admin/advanced, and in my case it would be http://130.144.42.224/admin/advanced. You will get directly into the Info page of the Sipura where you can see what is currently going on.
Don’t get intimidated by all the options, there are actually only two screens we need to edit to get it up running. I won’t go into detail over what each and every option mean, let’s just leave it at what I describe as this is the most common and easiest setup.
Click on the SIP tab and scroll down to the end of the screen. This tab tells the SPA3000 the general options for how it should handle SIP. SIP is in essence VoIP. When you’re there you need to change the following options:
Handle VIA received: YES Insert VIA received: YES Substitute VIA Addr: NO STUN Enable: YES STUN Server: stun.fwdnet.net:3478 | Handle VIA rport: YES Insert VIA rport: YES Send Resp To Src Port: NO STUN Test Enable: NO EXT IP: |

skype for mac and windows cool
Jason has a sweet Skype hack...
Jaanus Kase posted instructions over on Skype's developer site for enabling higher quality 640x480 video. You need to upgrade to the latest Skype release (2.5.0.85 or later for mac and 3.0.0.216 for PC), quit Skype, and then edit the config.xml file in your settings directory ("~/Library/Application Support/Skype/[skypeusername]/" in OS X).You should see an entry that looks similar to:
Modify that to read:
When you've finished, your contacts will be seeing you in glorious 640x480 instead of the standard 320x240. There are some tweaks and hardware requirements that might be required for the PC version, so check up on the links below for the nitty-gritty details.

iRiver Wing
Another noteworthy product is Full QWERTY keyboard and touch-screen simultaneously, the network mounts a full-scale portable device Wing (WING).
The iriver Wing is a cute little UMPC with a touchscreen and 4GB of flash storage. It’s got Wi-Fi, obviously, and supposedly is instant-on. No word on the battery life. The Bads: It runs Windows CE Pro for the OS, and the keyboard looks like it could be difficult to pound on.
Wing is multimedia features with VoIP (Internet telephony), instant messaging, webmail, widgets, including Wi-Fi network through a variety of features. The ability to work quickly through inseuteonteuon can, 4.0-inch touch screen and a QWERTY keyboard to apply WVGA, anyone can use it easily. A small notebook and similar forms of the same design, using the fold and there can always be a mobile multimedia entertainment business and satisfy both the product of two factors.

Lower or Higher? Coilovers are here! Hotbits speaks!
Racing cars shod stiffer suspension for better handling at high speeds on race tracks. The cars are also lowered for better dynamics at high speeds. We can do the same setup on our road going cars as well, but with bad roads you will feel your behind upto the bone making it very difficult for a daily use car. Here we have a product from HotBits DT1 series that allows you to adjust the damping and also lower the car upto 2" from stock position and increase height upto 1" from stock position. This is an all in one product which is applicable for both Street(regular use) and Track configuration. The multi adjustment feature of this kit is wonderful and apart form the primary comfort that you get out of this kit you can also improve the complete outlook of your ride by lowering the car itself. Something Iam sure most of us would want to try out on our cars.
